
Where were you born and raised?
I was born at Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine. Moved on an average of every 2-3 years growing up, living in ME, IL, TX, LA, MO, and AR
How did you get your start in radio?
I worked as an electronic engineer in broadcasting during my own Air Force career of 8 years. After an honorable discharge, I went back to school at Broadcast Center in St Louis, where I started my “on air” career with Emmis Communications.
How long have you been in radio and what has that entailed?
I began as a production assistant for Emmis Communication’s five-station cluster in March of 2004. I moved to Decatur, IL from there to become the evening air personality on Y102. I then accepted a position as morning host of KXMO Oldies station with Results Radio’s six-station cluster in Rolla, MO. I did a short stent with KNEO in Neosho, wearing many hats before arriving here at Zimmer.
What would you be doing if you weren't in radio?
I would more than likely be in television production or graphic design.
Do you have any pets and what are their names?
My girls, Ruth (11) and Andrea (8) have a flea-infested dog named “Daisy” (she stays outside). My daughter, Shea (11) has a cat named “Polo.” My pet is my 2005 Boulevard Motorcycle.
What are your hobbies?
I am a musician, playing several instruments, and I sing (Karaoke anyone?). I love to write and record music, spend time with my biggest fans (my family), and go on long motorcycle rides with the love of my life, Ashlee.
Where do you want to live when you retire?
If I retire (I think I will always be doing something) – I would like to settle in San Antonio, TX, but with all the hurricane activity, maybe St. Louis.
